Barbaro

Barbaro is a three piece band from Boston, Ma. Featuring Andrew Schneider, (X Slughog), Meaghan McLaughlin, (X Bloodletter) and, with the addition of drummer Michael Ushinski, (X Striken for Catherine) Barbaro was born in April 1999.

Wasting no time, the group wrote a set worth of material, played a slew of Boston and regional shows and release their self titled CD EP on Polterchrist Records / Curve of the Earth Records November 2nd.

Produced by Barbaro at New Alliance Studios, the EP is aggressive, chaotic, dynamic and restrained. (Andrew Schneider, head engineer at New Alliance has recorded Boston headliners Half Cocked, Scissorfight, Roadsaw, and Cracktorch) The dual male/female vocals and complex structure of the songs combine to create an overwhelming live act that is as delicate as it is brutal.
